Fadal Part Number BEL-0005
Genuine Fadal OEM Spindle belt. The BEL-0002 belt is used by the spindle motor to drive the 15K spindle. It is uses a 1 to 1 pulley ratio, where 1 turn of the motor is 1 turns of the spindle.
This belt is used on the early VMC15 machines, before the introduction of the clogged belt. With this system, there were two ranges to select from by manually moving the belt from the high range (1 to 1) to the low range (2 to 1). The low range had a maximum of 3750 rpm and twice the torque of the high range.
